The Farm
|
The Pistol River Mushroom Farm is a family owned
business, started in March of 1999 with the dried mushroom and mushroom
seasonings. In October, of the same year Brian and Mike finished
building the first fruiting room (Greenhouse), where we grow fresh
Shiitake mushrooms. We hope to add another fruiting room by the
end of the year 2000. We also would like to grow other varieties
of gourmet mushrooms in the future, but for now we have our hands full
with the Shiitake.
